I’ve been using a chicken backer 330 professionally for years in my CCR tribute band. It’s plays great and sound good stock, but doesn’t have that sound like Fogerty got on say Green River’s lead parts. I have the same exact idea as you’re showing here and wondering if the sound will match? Those toasters are supposed to have rubber grommets underneath so maybe that space helps create that sound?

His finest melody, maybe ever. Pity he didn't find more positive lyrics and give it the full treatment a la Let It Be or Hey Jude ... the album reflects a desultory, listless period.

I'm 66 and this is the band and soundtrack of my youth. I literally could listen to this song all day long as I go about my daily business. Love love love me some CCR !!! Wish they could've made it through the 70's, we would have had some more great songs from this phenomenal band!

Sent mine back, the bridge is terrible, those fake kluson mounting tuners screws pulled out of the headstock wood. The tuners have no threaded mounting hardware. You make it sound good . Go get a credit card and get a real one
